An Airplane, also known as aeroplane or simply plane, is a type of powered aircraft that is designed to travel through the air. It consists of a fuselage (body), wings, and engines, as well as various control surfaces such as ailerons, flaps, and rudder. The wings generate lift, allowing the airplane to stay airborne while the engines provide the necessary thrust for forward motion. The first successful flight of an airplane was conducted by the Wright Brothers in 1903. Since then, airplanes have rapidly evolved, becoming faster, larger, and more technologically advanced. They are widely used for commercial travel, cargo transportation, military operations, and recreational purposes.
