The game continues in a clockwise direction, with players either playing a card that matches the suit or rank of the top card on the discard pile or using one of the special cards. The first player to get rid of all of their cards wins the round. The other players score points based on the number and rank of the cards remaining in their hand. The game ends when a player reaches a predetermined point total, typically 500.
